Medical Device Support: Concurrent Engineering

We have successfully engineered specialized cooling gel packs for very sensitive

medical applications which are in contact with the patient's skin. These packs had to

meet the stringent requirements of the medical device manufacturer. GelCool was

an active and highly supportive development partner providing not only precise

design and engineering support, but also bringing significant expertise to the table

in the areas of cooling, plastics, gel chemical composition, and stress testing.

Another example of our design, testing and production capabilities is our gel packs for
military helmets. They have undergone rigorous stress testing, including very high impact,

high tension and friction load testing. This included both standards-based and custom testing
which far exceeded the defined standard.
