Many technicians and other personnel working in the elements wear baseball caps, but not hard hats. So GelCool™ applied its hard hat cooling expertise to a completely new ball cap design that actuallly holds the cooling gel within the cap's fabric walls. This allows us to keep the cap size and weight very comfortable while providing significant cooling.
GelCool™ Cooling Gel Caps are sealed dry cooling head gear, not evaporative like traditional cooling solutions. These cool packs keep your personnel significantly cooler in the most challenging high temperature environments. Our Cooling Gel Caps significantly lower the risk of heat stroke and heat related illnesses. Even the mildest forms of heat stroke can cause weakness, dizziness, and lack of concentration. In high temperature environments GelPacks are worn from the beginning of the exposure to heat. We use a shielding system that graduates cooling over a long period of time, avoiding potential discomfort from too much immediate cooling and providing a more uniform, lasting cool temperature.
